Electrical Supervisor – AVRS

What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Supervisor to join the team at AVRS, a Galliford Try business.
As a result of several long term framework awards we currently have a need for ambitious Electrical Supervisors & preferably with a strong industrial background for long term work within the Water Treatment Sector.

Our projects range in value from £5k to £10m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients.
This is a permanent job role.
Contracted to 42hrs per week Monday to Friday- with competitive hourly rates.
You will be paid travel time on top time of contracted hours.
- Will be responsible for supervising a team of Electricians to complete the scope of works safely, to a high standard inline with the programme.
- Responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and AVRS Electrical safety rules.
- Engage with AVRS's positive safety culture.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to and promote a positive culture.
- Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the contract and quality plan.
- To coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
- Work as part of a growing team
About You:
- SSSTS or equivalent
- ECS gold card
- Experience as an Electrical Supervisor
- Able to manage own and project workload with minimal assistance from Project Manager
- Emergency first aid or First Aider
- Fitness to work medical
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- EUSR water hygiene
- 2391 Test and Inspection
- PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
- COMPEX
- Industrial experience
