Job Overview

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Junior Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess some office experience and basic administrative skills, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This role requires proficiency in various computer applications, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring records are up-to-date.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office and computer based systems for document creation.
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with clerical duties as required.
  • Support team members with administrative tasks to enhance productivity.
  • Assist to Produce daily transport notes and timetable for 5 x drivers.
  • Process paperwork for the receipt and dispatch of goods.

Qualifications

  • Proven office experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Shipping containers and Haulage is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
  • Demonstrated phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
