Sales Support Executive – European Accounts (Based in Newtown, Wales)

Salary: £27,000 – £32,500 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Newtown, Powys (supporting our German office and wider European markets)

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time, Permanent

At Hafren Security Fasteners, we're the UK's leading manufacturer and wholesaler of specialist security fasteners — supplying customers across Europe from our head office in Newtown, Wales, and our German base in Langenfeld (NRW).

We're now looking for a proactive and energetic Sales Support Executive to join our European sales team — supporting our Account Managers, building relationships with customers, and helping to drive new business opportunities.

What you'll do:

  • Act as a key contact for our European distributor network, developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Support our European Account Managers by coordinating appointments, preparing quotes, and following up on opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers — engaging them confidently and professionally.
  • Monitor and follow up on quotations and enquiries to help drive conversions.
  • Work collaboratively with our wider UK and European teams to ensure a seamless, world-class customer experience.

What you'll bring:

  • A sales-focused mindset and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Confidence when communicating via phone and email across international markets.
  • Motivation and ambition to grow your career — this role could develop into a future Sales or Account Manager position.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer support is an advantage, but attitude and drive are key.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team.
  • Languages: German and English are essential; French or other European languages are highly desirable.
