Are you an enthusiastic Biology Teacher who has recently qualified and is ready to embark on an exciting teaching career? Our well-respected secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a passionate Biology Teacher (ECT) to join our dynamic science department this September.

The Role – Biology Teacher (ECT)

As a Biology Teacher (ECT), you will be responsible for teaching Biology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be given the tools, resources, and mentoring necessary to flourish in your first year of teaching. You will have the chance to develop your teaching practice and engage with students in a school where science education is highly valued.

The Ideal Biology Teacher Will:


• Be working towards or have recently achieved QTS

• Hold a degree in Biology or a related subject

• Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong classroom presence to the role

• Be committed to continuous professional development as a Biology Teacher and show a keen interest in growing in the profession
