Who We're Looking For

We invite applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced Art Teachers who:

  • Hold QTS and a degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.

  • Are eager to inspire students through a range of artistic media, from painting and sculpture to digital art and mixed media.

  • Are committed to supporting students in their artistic and personal growth.

  • Enjoy working collaboratively with a team of dedicated Art Teachers to enhance the curriculum.

  • Are passionate about contributing to extracurricular art activities, such as exhibitions, trips, and after-school clubs.

  • Are adaptable and can engage with students of all abilities and backgrounds.

About the Role

As our new Art Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 for more experienced applicants.

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that foster creativity and critical thinking in students.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their skills.

  • Work closely with other Art Teachers in planning and refining the curriculum.

  • Get involved in the wider life of the school, including art exhibitions, clubs, and community projects.

  • For experienced Art Teachers, there may be opportunities for leadership responsibilities, such as mentoring ECTs and supporting departmental initiatives.
