Security service Engineer

Access & Lock are currently seeking security service engineers with previous experience of fault finding and maintenance. Your day-to-day role will include attending sites to investigate/repair faults and carrying out routine service checks on systems that we maintain.

We are a well-established family-owned company, looking for new team members due to our continued growth and success.

Work will be mostly based in the Essex/East London area, making this role ideal for those looking for a good work/life balance & minimal travel. You will be working in a variety of interesting locations for some of our key contracts such as local councils, schools, NHS and commercial properties.

We specialise in Intruder alarms, Fire alarms, CCTV and Access control. However experience in all of the above areas is not essential and we appreciate candidates with varied working backgrounds and areas of expertise. Career progression and training opportunities can be provided to further your skills if required. We provide support to our engineers via in-house training along with investment in industry recognised qualifications & certificates (e.g. FIA)

Call-out rota, with generous standby fee and overtime rates paid.

Working hours 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Examples of some of the systems we work on:

Access: Paxton, PAC, Salto

Intruder: Galaxy, Scantronic, Texecom, Menvier, ATS

Fire: Advanced, Morley, Kentec, Gent

CCTV: Concept Pro, Hikvision

Requirements:

  • 2+years experience in the Security systems industry
  • Motivated worker with self-management skills
  • Able to communicate well at all levels
  • Willing to work both in a team or alone
  • Good at problem solving & using initiative
  • Full UK driving licence
