Through science-led product innovation, rigorous clinical evaluation, and a commitment to equitable access, we're shaping the next generation of medicine and redefining how mental health care is delivered.
Join us as we continue building a healthier future, one that is digital, evidence-driven, and designed for everyone.
Our Vision Over the next 5-10 years, we believe digital therapeutics will transform the delivery of healthcare worldwide by providing access to safe and effective evidence-based treatments. Big Health is positioned to take the lead in this transformation.
Big Health is a remote-first company, and this role can be based anywhere in the UK.
Join Us We're looking for an experienced SEO Manager to manage and execute our organic search strategy and help more patients discover our evidence-based treatments for insomnia and anxiety & worry. This is a pivotal role in building sustainable organic visibility and growth.
You'll work closely with our Marketing team to ensure patients can easily find us when searching for help, information, and treatment options online. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives, with a focus on driving organic growth, patient acquisition, and long-term visibility.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms across insomnia, anxiety, and related mental health needs; map keywords to the customer journey to capture both informational and conversion-focused intent.
- Optimise website architecture, landing pages, and content for both users and search engines, ensuring technical SEO best practices are met (site speed, mobile-friendliness, structured data, crawlability).
- Partner with the Content Manager to plan and optimise high-quality, patient-centred content that answers search intent, improves rankings, and supports our mission.
- Monitor and analyse performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs and other SEO tools to track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and ROI.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to increase authority and trust.
- Continuously adapt strategy and processes based on industry developments and search engine algorithm changes, proactively reallocating resources to maintain and grow visibility.
- Own the measurement framework and report on KPIs and insights to stakeholders, providing clear recommendations backed by data.
- Educate and support internal teams on SEO best practices.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of proven SEO experience, ideally within healthcare, digital health, or another highly regulated sector
- Demonstrable track record of improving organic visibility, rankings, and conversions
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially content and product
- Analytical mindset with strong skills in data interpretation and translating insights into action
- Backed by leading venture capital firms.
- Big Health's products are used by large multinational employers and major health plans to help improve sleep and mental health. Our digital therapeutics are available to more than 62 million Medicare beneficiaries.
- Surround yourself with the smartest, most enthusiastic, and most dedicated people you'll ever meet—people who listen well, learn from their mistakes, and when things go wrong, generously pull together to help each other out. Having a bigger heart and a small ego are central to our values.
- Enjoy benefits including a generous vacation policy, professional development fund, flexible working arrangements, and more.
- Competitive salary packages including stock options.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all UK locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. We at Big Health are on a mission to bring millions back to good mental health, in order to do so, we need to reflect the diversity of those we intend to serve. We're an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building a culturally and experientially diverse team that leads with empathy and respect.
