About the Team

The FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) team sits within the TikTok Shop - Operations- Industry organisation. We focus on identifying, incubating, and scaling FMCG brands across TikTok Shop. Through close cross-functional collaboration, we deliver tailored strategies and hands-on support to strengthen the growth and competitiveness of the TikTok Shop marketplace.

TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.

We are looking for a highly motivated and data-driven Business Operations & Strategy Analyst to support the TikTok Shop - Operations - Industry - FMCG team. In this role, you will drive business growth by developing growth strategy, conducting performance analysis, and translating business insights into actionable plans, and partnering across teams to optimise operations and unlock growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent analytical skills, thrives in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and is passionate about using data and structured thinking to influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Planning & Execution

  • Develop strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives, and propose initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

  • Lead the planning and execution of initiatives, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and alignment with overall business priorities.

Performance Analysis

  • Design a comprehensive, accurate, and objective KPI framework and monitoring system aligned with business objectives and the overall business model.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track key metrics, providing clear visibility into business performance and enabling early identification of issues for the team.

Ad-hoc Business Analysis

  • Conduct ad-hoc deep dives on business-related topics to uncover insights, identify trends, and diagnose challenges.

  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations, collaborating with stakeholders to optimise operations and drive growth initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Strategic Operations, Data Science, Product, and other teams to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Support the design and implementation of systems and workflows that improve team productivity and business outcomes.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in business analysis, strategy consulting, data science, sales operations, finance, or related functions.

  • Experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, consulting, or technology industries.

  • Proven ability to make data-driven recommendations and influence stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau).

  • Experience with SQL.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degrees in mathematics, statistics, analytics, computer science, engineering, IT, or related fields.

  • Experience in e-commerce platforms or FMCG-related business analysis.

  • Experience owning projects end-to-end from ideation to execution.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
