Overview

Interim Finance Business Partner (Fixed-Term Contract for 12–14 Months)

We are in search of an Interim Finance Business Partner to fill a 12-14 month fixed-term contract and support Artex on their growth journey. Your main duty will involve working closely with the Finance Director to offer financial insights and guidance to our leadership team. Your active involvement will be key in interpreting financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving profitability.

How you'll make an impact

Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Report accurate and timely data to all levels of collaborators to support the running of our operations.
  • Develop and ensure budgets and forecasts are credible, appropriately challenged, accepted, and owned by the businesses that will deliver them.
  • Validate and effectively communicate monthly management accounts to leadership.
  • Provide meaningful analysis on results and suggest actions to improve underperforming areas.
Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with local regional leadership and senior leadership to provide meaningful financial support and guidance.
  • Work closely with management accountants to grasp financial performance.
  • Support effective decision-making through financial analysis.
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Own the forecasting and budgeting processes for the division, with detailed records of all relevant information, including revenue and expenses. Ensure these are linked closely to the overall business strategies.
About You
  • A university degree or equivalent experience.
  • A professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous but not essential.
  • Background in professional services (preferred but not essential).
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance is desirable but not required.
  • Project management experience, particularly in implementing new processes and/or controls.
  • Strong organisational and influencing skills.
  • Excellent people leadership skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to managing multiple tasks and environments.
  • The ability to prioritise and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to process redesign and implementation.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
