Role Overview

The Operations Manager will lead and oversee the customer service / operations team (about 6 people) within the business, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance, and team performance. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring the smooth running of all operational processes across the medico-legal business.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide leadership and direction to the Operations team.

· To work closely with the Business Development Manager to take the business forward

· Oversee and manage day-to-day operational performance to ensure service levels and client expectations are met.

· Set clear priorities, monitor workload distribution, and hold the team accountable for delivery.

· Ensure compliance with medico-legal standards, internal policies, and data protection regulations.

· Report regularly to senior management on performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

· Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

· Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and business initiatives to enhance operational performance.

· Contribute to strategic planning and assist in achieving business growth objectives.

Skills & Experience

· Proven experience in an operations leadership role (healthcare, legal, or insurance background advantageous).

· Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams at all levels.

· Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.

· Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations.

· High attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
