Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fabrication, grinding, and welding. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating various saws and tools to cut materials accurately according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate saws and other cutting equipment to produce precise cuts.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively for assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and maintain production schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, grinding, welding, or similar roles is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and tooling for assembly tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to cutting specifications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
