Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail, with the ability to engage with customers effectively.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise and promote upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Process transactions accurately using the till and handle cash responsibly.
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone and in-person with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently.
