Sales Assistant – Customer Experience Champion (Retail Associate)

Contract Type: Zero Hours Contract (progression to 40 hours/week)

About the Role

As the face of our brand, you'll guide customers through their vape journey, while also supporting sales in CBD health & beauty products, accessories, and lifestyle items. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their retail career, develop new skills, and be part of a supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized customer service that makes every shopper feel valued
  • Educate customers on vape products, CBD health & beauty items, and accessories
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems & cash handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
  • Support inventory management, stock checks, and merchandising
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales targets & KPIs
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally
  • Participate in promotions, events, and brand representation activities
  • Follow company policies and UK vaping regulations (training provided)

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales (vape industry preferred)
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills with a passion for helping people
  • Must be 18+ years old with GCSE-level education or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of vape products, CBD, and UK retail trends (advantageous)
  • Ability to multitask, stay composed, and work under pressure
  • Comfortable using POS systems, cash registers, and basic tech tools
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to learn
