We are hiring for a DBS cleaner to work in a school in Coleshill on a temp to perm basis.

Working hours are 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail. Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial settings
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of hygiene
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
