Director of Global Air Partnerships Overview:

We are looking for a full-time (35 hours per week) Director of Global Air Partnerships who can support our growing Procurement Team. As the Director of Global Air Partnerships, you will have a diverse and varied role. You'll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Commercial Strategy & Supplier Relationships

  • Develop and execute TAG's global airline procurement and partnership strategy in alignment with company objectives

  • Negotiate and manage preferred airline agreements to maximize commercial value, competitive fares, and client benefits
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key airline partners, fostering long-term strategic collaboration
  • Oversee contract compliance, performance monitoring, and delivery of financial returns across all airline partnerships
  • Revenue Management & Performance Optimisation

  • Own and optimize global override, commission, and incentive income streams to achieve revenue targets

  • Implement robust reporting frameworks, KPIs, and analytics to track airline performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure accurate revenue recording and forecasting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to integrate airline strategies into client solutions and campaigns

  • Support new business development and RFP responses with airline strategy and commercial insights
  • Partner with Technology teams to enhance automation, reporting accuracy, and supplier connectivity
  • People Management & Governance

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a global airline procurement and revenue management team, driving accountability and results

  • Ensure all airline contracts meet governance, compliance, and ethical standards while proactively mitigating risk
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Extensive senior-level experience in airline procurement, distribution, or revenue management within a TMC or airline environment
  • Proven success in negotiating and managing high-value commercial agreements with global airline partners
  • Deep understanding of airline commercial models, distribution channels (GDS/NDC), and industry market dynamics
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of driving team performance and achieving measurable commercial growth
