Golf Halfway House Attendant

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Golf Halfway House Attendant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for customer service, and is keen to contribute to the overall experience of golfers. The Golf Halfway House Attendant will be responsible for providing food, beverages, and exceptional service to golfers during their rounds while ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the halfway house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet golfers with a warm and friendly attitude, provide menu recommendations, take orders, and ensure timely and accurate service of food and beverages.
- Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and other items typically offered at a halfway house. Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the halfway house area is clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Clean tables, equipment, and kitchen areas as required.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies to ensure the halfway house is always prepared for the next group of golfers.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed in the preparation and service of food and drinks.
- Communication: Work closely with other team members and the golf course staff to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for golfers.
Qualifications:
- GCSE qualifications in English & Maths.
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills with a positive and energetic demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the halfway house area for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies, beverages, and food items.
- Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays + bank holidays.
- Shift work, typically during peak golfing hours.
