Technical Delivery Programme Manager

is building secure, sustainable and scalable AI infrastructure for the UK. We develop high-density data centres and GPU platforms across modular and purpose-built facilities, with a focus on speed to market, quality and operational excellence.
Own the program delivery framework for end to end site readiness and activation, you will run the program cadence for data centre builds, coordinate multi vendor delivery and drive operation effectiveness from pre construction through to commissioning, customer handover and steady state operations. You have the ability to combine strong program leadership with practical technical fluency across power, cooling, networking and racks.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the central program for build programs including governance, RAID, critical path, milestones and change control.
- Build and manage the integrated master schedule across design, civils, MEP, IT build, commissioning and go-live.
- Drive site readiness: permits, surveys, utilities, access, logistics, EHS and CDM compliance.
- Coordinate Multi-vendor delivery across EPCs, OEMs and service partners. Manage RFIs, submittals, method statements and RAMS.
- Support procurement with technical input to scopes of work, acceptance criteria and service levels.
- Own program risk and issue management with clear mitigations, owners and deadlines.
- Lead readiness reviews and stage gates from pre-construction to practical completion and readiness to rack.
- Oversee commissioning planning and execution (Levels 1–5) with documented test scripts, punch-lists and defect closure.
- Ensure operational documentation packs are complete: as-builts, O&M, runbooks, EOPs, permits to work, MOP/SOP/EOP.
- Stand up program tooling and live dashboards for progress, cost, risk and quality.
- Manage change, incident and problem processes during build and early life operations.
- Partner with Operations for handover to BAU, SLOs, spares strategy and warranty tracking.
- Produce concise executive reporting with clear decisions required and financial impact.
Technical Skills
- Power: ability to read single line diagrams, understanding of MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, STS, busways, metering and redundancy tiers.
- Cooling: knowledge of CRAH/CRAC, in-row and rear-door solutions, liquid and immersion concepts, water systems and controls.
- IT build: rack layouts, structured cabling standards (copper and fibre), smart hands tasks and readiness to rack criteria.
- Networking: basic L2 and L3 concepts, out of band, leaf spine awareness and IP addressing for commissioning and monitoring.
- Controls and monitoring: BMS, EPMS and DCIM concepts, SNMP and alerting paths.
- Commissioning: familiarity with integrated systems testing, black-building and soak testing.
Required Experience
- Proven delivery of data centre or mission-critical infrastructure programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Proficiency in PROGRAMME tools & automation e.g. AI to support effective ops & reporting.
- Strong PROGRAMME leadership in construction plus IT fit-out environments.
- Hands-on vendor and contractor management with clear commercial and technical governance.
- Practical knowledge of UK regulations including CDM 2015 and H&S best practice.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and executive reporting.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
Nice To Have
- Certifications such as PMP, APM, Prince2, AgilePM, ITIL, SMSTS or NEBOSH.
- Experience with GPU-dense designs and high-density cooling approaches.
- Exposure to DNO/IDNO connections, grid and on-site generation.
Location: This role requires some travel to sites in the United Kingdom and should be completed from within the United Kingdom.
