DevSecOps Lead

Due a period of unprecedented growth KX are currently looking for a DevSecOps Lead to join our R&D team on a permanent basis.

This is a truly unique opportunity to join our business as the first dedicated hire in this area and help shape our security strategy in a meaningful way.

Key areas of this role include:

  • Responsibility for network and infrastructure hardening, system authorization and authentication, security policies
  • Understanding secure coding practises
  • Working in securing multi-tenanted systems
  • Experience with managing security in cloud infrastructure; securing Kubernetes clusters
  • Private networks; VPNs; securing development and production environments with appropriate firewalls
  • Experience in deploying and operating cyber security solutions
  • In depth understanding of AWS, Terraform, Ansible and be able to demonstrate an understanding of cloud network security fundamentals.

In order to be suitable for this role you will need to have a considerable DevSecOps experience and ideally have previous experience of implementing a security strategy in a commercial business.

You will also need to be an effective communicator as you will working with stakeholders of all levels and as the team grows you will be responsible for their day to day management.
