Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of care plans and client progress.
  • Support clients in following their care plans as outlined by healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment within the home, reporting any concerns or changes in the client's condition.
  • Utilise IT skills to manage schedules and communicate updates effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and families.
  • A valid driving licence is required to transport clients as needed.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous.
  • A compassionate nature and a commitment to providing high-quality care are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a team when required.
