We're hiring a talented and passionate Chef to join a warm and welcoming 35-bed care home in Clitheroe.

About the Role

  • Lead chef on duty, responsible for kitchen operations during your shift

  • Prepare fresh, homemade meals with variety and great presentation

  • Cater to individual dietary needs and preferences with creativity and care

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness

  • Work closely with an assistant chef on shift

  • Coordinate effectively with an assistant who works alternate days to ensure smooth menu planning and consistency

What We're Looking For

  • A skilled and creative Chef with a passion for homemade food

  • Someone who values care, consistency, and connection as much as flavour

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Experience in a care setting is a bonus, but not essential

  • Confidence working independently with the support of an assistant

  • A positive, warm personality that fits into a close-knit care team
