Interim Financial Controller

Are you a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and a passion for accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement? Elevation Senior Finance are looking for an Interim Financial Controller to lead on consolidated reporting, statutory accounts, and financial controls.

The role

You'll manage the preparation of Management Accounts, budgets, forecasts, and statutory reporting for multiple entities. Acting as the in-house technical expert, you'll ensure compliance, support tax and audit processes, and provide clear, reliable financial information to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function across multiple entities, setting direction and keeping financials on track.
  • Oversee reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing statutory accounts.
  • Make sure the business meets regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.
  • Provide insight on financial performance, commercial decisions, treasury, and key projects.
  • Manage and support the finance team, encouraging collaboration and growth.
  • Improve processes and systems to make financial reporting faster and more accurate.

About you

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
  • Strong technical accounting background
  • Experience in consolidated reporting and statutory accounts
  • Knowledge of UK corporation and indirect taxes
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Proactive and confident working across multiple entities
