We're on the lookout for a dedicated Mammographer to join our friendly and supportive Breast Screening team at the Jarvis Centre in Guildford. Whether you're looking for full-time hours or a more flexible, part-time arrangement, we'd love to hear from you. Our service includes a fleet of 5 mobile screening vans and on-site assessment clinics.

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team including Consultant Radiologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Assistant Practitioners

  • Take part in assessment clinics using the NHSBSP triple assessment approach: mammography/ultrasound, clinical examination, and needle biopsy

Your role will include:
  • Taking high-quality mammograms and participating in stereotactic biopsies

  • Mentoring and supporting Assistant Practitioners

  • Working on a rota across mobile screening sites and at the Jarvis Centre

  • Maintaining clinical equipment, QA processes, and CPD portfolio

  • Providing compassionate care to nervous or anxious clients

  • Staying up to date with current trends and techniques in mammography

We're looking for someone with:
  • BSc in Radiography & PG Cert in Mammography

  • HCPC registration

  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work across diverse teams

  • Technical competence in breast imaging and a commitment to continuous professional development
