About the Role

As a QA Lead Mammographer, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of imaging quality across our static unit at the Jarvis Breast Centre and five mobile screening units, covering 19 locations across Surrey and North East Hampshire. You will:

Lead on quality assurance (QA) protocols and processes to ensure high imaging standards

Perform high-quality mammograms for breast cancer screening

Support assessment clinics, including stereotactic biopsies

Conduct quality control (QC) checks on mammography equipment, including stereotactic units and ultrasound machines

Assist in training and developing Assistant Practitioners and Trainee Mammographers

What You'll Need

BSc in Radiography or equivalent

HCPC registration

Certificate of Competence in Mammography

Postgraduate qualification in Mammography (desirable)
