Assistant Information Manager Document Control

You'll be responsible for:

•    Following information management (IM) processes effectively and efficiently, ensuring adherence to standards (including ISO19650) for client-facing projects and programmes.

•    Contributing to the effectiveness of the project/programme IM function so that project personnel can access the information they need.

•    Supporting and guiding project/programme colleagues in IM practices and processes.

•    Providing assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.

•    Assisting with the setup, implementation, and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE).

•    Contributing to the Global Digital Centre of Excellence, including sharing knowledge, processes, and case studies.

•    Coordinating activities to ensure successful project/programme management and delivery.

•    Managing work activities to achieve agreed objectives and providing performance management, development, and coaching.

•    Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, taking responsibility for identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

You'll need to have:

•    Right to work in the UK (or ability to obtain a visa if required).

•    Degree or equivalent qualification.

•    Demonstrable experience in information management or document control within construction projects.

•    Familiarity with ISO19650 standards and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.
 

You'll also have:

•    Strong understanding of information management principles and techniques.

•    Experience using document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint).

•    Knowledge of naming, numbering, and filing conventions.

•    Awareness of security, cyber security, and data protection requirements.

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•    Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.

•    Understanding of carbon and sustainability considerations in project delivery.

•    Commercial and financial awareness.
