Court-Based Paramedic

Job Overview
Health Finder Pro is seeking a clinically confident and reliable paramedic to provide dedicated Saturday cover across healthcare contract, primarily supporting detainee welfare and court-based clinical response. This role is essential to maintaining safe, responsive operations during Saturday proceedings and ensuring high standards of care and professionalism within custodial and courtroom settings.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide on-site clinical support at designated court locations, responding to detainee health needs and supporting safe proceedings.
Conduct initial assessments and escalate concerns appropriately, including liaison with on-call doctors or emergency services as required.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to incident reporting in line with governance protocols.
Collaborate with court staff, client personnel, and legal teams to ensure safe and respectful care delivery.
Uphold infection control standards and maintain cleanliness of clinical equipment and workspace.
Support administrative tasks including vetting compliance, deployment logs, and clinical handovers.
Participate in reflective practice and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Skills and Attributes
- HCPC-registered paramedic with sound clinical assessment skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication to engage effectively with detainees, court staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and remain composed in high-pressure environments.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with proficiency in basic digital systems for documentation and reporting.
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering trauma-informed, patient-centred care.
- Previous experience in custody, court, or justice-sector settings is beneficial but not essential.
- Willingness to undergo client vetting and maintain compliance with court access protocols
Hours
Saturdays: 9am–1pm
