Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional hospitality to our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily running of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring seamless service and operational excellence.
  • Support the consistent delivery of AA Rosette-level service standards across the restaurant and bar.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of functions, weddings, and events.
  • Supervise and motivate the Food and Beverage team, including restaurant, bar, and banqueting staff.
  • Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
  • Work closely with other departments (kitchen, sales, reception) to ensure a seamless guest journey.
  • Assist in monitoring labour costs, reducing wastage, and ensuring profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role within a 4-star or higher hospitality environment.
  • Experience managing both à la carte and banquet service operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and guest service abilities.
  • Proficient in POS and hotel management systems.
  • Good understanding of cost control and budgeting.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This role is 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.
