About Us

Opal Auctions is an innovative online property auction platform specialising in selling buy-to let properties on behalf of landlords looking to exit the private rental sector. We currently operate in South Wales and have exciting ambitions to expand across the UK.

We are now looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Co-Founder to join our journey, working alongside the founder to take the business to the next stage of growth.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional salaried role – it's a sweat equity partnership where your energy, expertise, and commitment will directly translate into shared success. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's direction, driving growth, and building a strong presence in the property auction market.

What You'll Be Doing

As Co-Founder and Managing Director, you'll:

Shape Strategy: Review the existing business plan with the founder and prepare the business for the next stage of growth.

Grow the Brand: Create and deliver effective social media and digital marketing campaigns targeting buyers and sellers.

Build the Team: Recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to new associates.

Lead Operations: Take responsibility for day-to day management and act as Managing Director.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to grow a business from the ground up.
  • Experienced in sales, property, or online platforms (though we're open to diverse backgrounds).
  • Confident in digital marketing and social media as growth channels.
  • Comfortable with a partnership model where success comes through shared results.
  • Excited by the idea of helping landlords, investors, and buyers connect through an accessible and transparent auction platform.

Pay: £24,596.68-£104,625.80 per year
