Assistant Coffee Trainer and Auditor

Purpose of Role:
The Assistant Coffee Trainer & Auditor is a key role to maintaining and elevating the quality standards across our customer portfolio. You will deliver training whilst promoting Melitta Professional products and services.
This is a hybrid training and audit role supporting the head trainer which the role-holder will recognise opportunities and assist customers in a consultative manner. The role-holder will aim to understand the customers needs and recommend products and services that maximize value. The role holder reports to the Head Trainer.
As part of this team you would be required to:
· Assist the Head Trainer by co-leading structured training sessions and providing coaching support to customers on preparation techniques, machine operations and brand standards.
· Provide knowledge and support during external trade shows or customer events for traditional and fully automatic equipment.
· Support the head trainer by performing scheduled audits across machine locations to assess standards across key areas: cup quality, recipe accuracy cleanliness, operational compliance and in house training.
· Document audit findings, report non-compliance to department heads, and assist in the implementation of corrective action plans to resolve deficiencies quickly.
· During regular site visits, selling opportunities should be maximised, whether additional products, including, equipment placements, sale of cleaning materials. or service contracts, to secure growth for Melitta Professional.
Experience:
Essential
· Must hold a valid UK drivers license
· 2+ years Barista/ Team Leader experince in the hospitality sector
Desirable:
· Field experience travelling to deliver training sessions
· Experience gained in a retail / FMCG setting
Skills / Knowledge:
Essential:
· Barista skills to a reasonable standard
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information during training sessions and in written reports.
· High standards of personal and administration and time management
· IT Literate
· Willingless to travel nationally with regional focus
· Good interpersonal Skills
· Proven ability to work independently and in a team
· Keen interest in the coffee industry
