Buckswood school motto is 'Ad Vitam Paramus' or 'we prepare for life', and our magical campus set on 40 acres of country estate, vineyard, stables and activity centre provide the perfect setting for passionate subject specialists to ignite the imaginations of our students. Join a school that likes to think outside of the box and inspire children to do the same.
We are seeking an energetic, persuasive, and highly motivated Admissions & Marketing Officer to grow Buckswood's presence and student numbers within the UK market. This role is ideal for someone who is hungry to make the sale, thrives on meeting targets, and has the confidence to drive new opportunities from first contact to conversion. You'll be the face of the school to the UK market — inspiring families, securing enrolments, and building a powerful public profile for Buckswood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Buckswood at key education events, local networking opportunities, and school fairs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, community organisations, and prospective families.
- Act as the school's UK PR lead: generating positive media coverage, writing press releases, and managing relationships with local media.
- Organise and lead school events such as tours (UK and international), open days, community visits, and partnership projects.
- Maintain a pipeline of UK sales enquiries and support prospective families through the journey to application, working alongside the wider Admissions team.
- Champion the school's values and ethos in all external communications and engagements.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong background in Admissions, PR, business development, or Digital Marketing.
- Experience using social media to drive engagement
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A personable, professional demeanor and the ability to represent the school confidently to a wide range of audiences.
- A results-driven mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Familiarity with the independent school sector (preferred).
If you have marketing expertise (campaigns, branding, PR, digital marketing), sales ability (meeting targets, client relationship management), admissions knowledge (student recruitment, application processing), strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), relevant qualifications (degree in Marketing, Business, or Digital Marketing), and proven experience in schools, please apply.
Why Join Buckswood?
- Be part of a unique and forward-thinking school community with students from over 30 countries.
- Enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same.
- Work from a beautiful countryside campus with rich heritage and charm.
- Benefit from a supportive leadership team and opportunities for professional development.
- Help shape the future of a growing school with an exciting story to tell
Candidates are invited to submit their CVs to the school and if successful following an initial review will be provided with the full Job Description. Candidates would then be required to submit a full school application form before being shortlisted and invited to an interview.
