SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Solution Architect

Our client is a major global consultancy expanding its SAP practice to meet rising demand for cloud-based transformation programmes. They are building out their S/4HANA Public Cloud capability and are looking for a Solution Architect who can lead technical design on large, multi-workstream implementations.

About the role

This position sits inside a fast-growing advisory team focused on end-to-end S/4HANA Public Cloud delivery. You'll take ownership of solution design across finance, procurement, and supply chain, and work directly with business and IT stakeholders to shape future-state architectures.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions across core business processes.
  • Produce architecture aligned to SAP Activate, best practices, and the current product roadmap.
  • Work with functional teams, developers, and data specialists to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into fit-to-standard Public Cloud architectures.
  • Guide clients through configuration constraints, extensibility options, and customisation decisions.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory, data residency, and security expectations.
  • Contribute to internal tooling, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing across the SAP community.

Experience required

  • Strong track record designing and delivering SAP S/4HANA
    Public Cloud
    solutions.
  • Clear understanding of SAP's standard scope, configuration boundaries, and extensibility in Public Cloud.
  • Familiar with SAP Best Practices, Business Process Content, and fit-to-standard delivery models.
  • End-to-end project lifecycle experience including blueprinting, delivery, testing, and hypercare.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement at senior levels across business and technology.
  • Comfortable working within agile, hybrid-agile, or traditional delivery environments.
  • Background in consultancy, public sector, or mid-market environments is welcome.
