The Opportunity

We're building an elite opening team to set the service bar on day one: pace without panic, product knowledge that sells, and hospitality that lands.

What You'll Do

• Own the guest journey: greet, read the table, recommend with credibility, close the loop on feedback.
• Bar excellence (for Bartenders): perfect pours, cocktail fundamentals, cellar & line checks, speed + accuracy.
• Sales with integrity: story-led beer/wine/spirits recommendations, smart pairing, confident upsell.
• Operational rhythm: sections that flow, ticket times that hold, standards that stick.
• Culture carrier: punctual, coachable, solutions-first; you lift the room with your presence.

You'll Bring

• Hospitality IQ and a guest-first mindset—you make the right call under pressure.
• FOH/bar experience in quality pubs/bistros preferred; high-velocity learners with grit absolutely welcome.
• Confident, concise communication; immaculate presentation & hygiene standards.
• Reliability and rhythm: punctual, organised, solutions-first; you keep sections flowing and ticket times tight.
• Flexibility for evenings/weekends on a fair rota.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).

Shift Patterns

• FT: ~30–45 hrs/week (4–8 shifts)
• PT: 16–30 hrs/week (2–4 shifts)

Launch Timelines

• Paid training: mid-November
• Doors open: last week of November

The Hiring Process (fast & no-nonsense)

• Successful candidates are offered a role upon completing the trial

Onboarding training & shifts will take place at Brook House as we complete our stunning new pub.
