Clevedon gymnastics is a small Gymnastics club in Clevedon, BS21 6XU with around 200 members. We provide opportunities for recreational, low level competitive and pre-school gymnastics classes in a relaxed, engaging and social environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gymnastics Coach to join our team for part time hours throughout the week.

As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for providing engaging coaching and instruction to gymnasts of all ages and skill levels. Your role will involve creating a safe and positive training environment, developing gymnastics skills, and passing on a love for the sport.

The job role includes:

• Plan and conduct gymnastics training sessions for individuals and groups

• Teach proper techniques for various gymnastics skills - Develop training programs tailored to the needs and abilities of each gymnast

• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help gymnasts improve their skills

• Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing safety rules and protocols - Monitor progress and track performance of gymnasts

• Prepare gymnasts for competitions and assist with competition routines

• Collaborate with other coaches to develop training strategies and lesson plans

• Maintain a clean and tidy gym

Skills:

• Strong background in sports coaching, preferably in gymnastics

• Ability to educate and inspire athletes of all ages

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of proper techniques, rules, and safety guidelines in gymnastics

• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

• Ability to adapt coaching methods to meet the needs of individual gymnasts

• Strong organisational skills to plan training sessions effectively
