MSL is a leading provider of specialist insurance products and services, is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to lead our sales strategy, strengthen broker relationships, and drive sustainable growth. The Role:

As Head of Business Development, you will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve commercial objectives and business growth.
  • Build and maintain broker and partner relationships, ensuring alignment with our target markets.
  • Oversee compliance with FCA regulations, focusing on Consumer Duty and fair outcomes for all customers.
  • Monitor broker performance and distribution channels to mitigate risks and deliver long-term value.
  • Work with internal teams to develop innovative products that align with market trends and client needs.

Who We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience in business development leadership, particularly in insurance or financial services.
  • A solid understanding of broker distribution models and FCA/Consumer Duty compliance - IF1 & 2 essential
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate across departments.
  • The strategic mindset and commercial acumen to deliver measurable results.
