Key Responsibilities

As a SEND Manager at BrightTeach, you'll oversee the delivery of exceptional tutoring services to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

  • You'll work closely with schools, local authorities, parents, and tutors to ensure every student receives the tailored support they need.
  • Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and matching students with the right tutors.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, including schools and local education authorities.
  • Ensuring high standards of service delivery from start to finish.
  • Supporting the growth of BrightTeach by bringing new students on board.
  • Staying up to date with developments in SEND and sharing your knowledge with the team.

Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

We're seeking candidates who:

  • Have experience in a similar role, such as Junior SEND Manager or within SEND Alternative Provision.
  • Are confident in assessing risk and working within safeguarding policies.
  • Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Have a strong understanding of the education sector and commercial awareness.
  • Are degree-educated or have equivalent experience.
  • You'll thrive in this role if you're proactive, adaptable, and eager to support students with SEND.

You will spend three days each week in the office, currently Tuesday to Thursday, which are mandatory, with the remaining days flexible, i.e. either from home or in the office if you prefer. Please note that office days may change as needed, and working from home full-time or more than two days a week is not possible.
