Dog Groomer

• Monday-Friday shift patterns - no weekends or late nights
• Pay starting at £13.35 per hour
• Must have prior training and experience in dog grooming
• Based at our dog grooming salon on Hessle Road, Hull

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dog Groomer to join our team in providing professional grooming services for our furry clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and customer service, with experience and relevant training in dog grooming settings.

Duties:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and customer preferences

- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process

- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements and provide recommendations

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area and equipment

- Assist in monitoring pet health and behaviour during grooming sessions

Required Experience:

- Previous experience and training as a Dog Groomer

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners

- Knowledge of different breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques

- Ability to handle heavy lifting when moving pets or equipment
