Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Servicing Department with all aspects of managing the loan portfolio across product lines.
  • Handle daily customer contact via phone, email, and post, ensuring SLA targets are met.
  • Process new account uploads, direct debits, BACS files, and manage unpaid payments.
  • Manage cash allocation, redemptions, settlements, and other banking activities.
  • Liaise with solicitors on redemption funds, deeds, and title registrations.
  • Support month-end processes including credit accounts, refunds, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with system testing and operational improvements alongside the Servicing Manager.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, scanning, and compliance with all internal procedures.

  • Strong communication and telephone skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with logical, organised thinking.
  • Confident in negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing deadlines.

Knowledge & Personal Attributes

  • Previous experience in customer service or arrears management (financial services desirable).
  • Degree-level education preferred but not essential.
  • Calm, resilient, and professional under pressure.
  • Punctual, well-organised, and committed to delivering high standards.
