Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a dynamic and high-performing boutique buyside commodities firm seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Leadership & Talent Development. This role is pivotal in shaping the firm's leadership capability, driving talent strategy, and aligning people development with business growth.
The ideal individual will have proven expertise and tenure in a matrix Financial Services environment with the ability to drive leadership development strategies, manage all aspects of performance management and drive coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement leadership development programmes that build capability aligned with the firm's strategic goals.
- Establish and manage relationships with top-tier leadership development suppliers and business schools to bring cutting-edge thinking and resources into the firm.
- Lead the Talent Review process in partnership with HR Business Partners, ensuring outcomes translate into actionable, individualised development plans.
- Own and manage the annual performance management cycle, ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the firm's coaching strategy, including executive coaching and internal coaching initiatives, to support leadership growth and team effectiveness.
- Drive succession planning efforts to identify and develop future leaders, ensuring a strong pipeline for critical roles.
- Connect talent initiatives to broader strategic workforce planning, ensuring alignment with long-term business needs.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Strategic Talent Partner, fostering collaboration and alignment with the Head of Coaching & Team Development.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in leadership development and talent strategy within financial services or a similarly fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of performance management, coaching, and succession planning frameworks.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for developing people.
