Actual Salary: £25,673–£28,301 per annum
Working Pattern: Term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks), 37 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
This is a key leadership role supporting the smooth and effective running of Heathcote Primary School as it continues to grow towards becoming a full primary school. As Office Manager, you will be a central point of contact for administration, finance, and operations, helping to establish strong systems and structures that support pupils, staff, and families. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Trust to ensure all non-teaching functions operate efficiently and compliantly.
Duties
Lead and manage the school office and administrative team.
Oversee financial operations, budgets, and day-to-day administration.
Manage payroll processes, financial reconciliation, and school census returns to required deadlines.
Use school systems such as SIMS and iTrent (training provided).
Liaise with the Trust and external organisations regarding payroll, HR, administration, and health and safety.
Support facilities management and the smooth operation of the school site.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with school and Trust policies.
Work collaboratively with senior leaders to support the strategic development of the school.
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience or confidence in financial and budgetary management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and external partners.
A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
Confidence using administrative and financial systems, or willingness to learn.
