Job description:

The Garden Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of large scale gardens in and around the Bromley area of Kent. You will work with other members of the team to accompany them on certain tasks and on some occasions independently. You will use your horticultural knowledge to the best of your capabilities to ensure the standards of Holmbridge Gardens are met.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • All aspects of garden maintenance, such as weeding, pruning, planting, lawn mowing, strimming, jet washing and remaining competent in using the appropriate power tools where required whilst adhering to all health and safety requirements.
  • Displaying a professional code of conduct with clients and employees whilst representing Holmbridge Gardens.

Candidate requirements:

  • A formal qualification in horticulture with general plant knowledge is preferred.
  • Candidates will need to be honest, self-motivated, reliable, and have a friendly yet professional approach with clients demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • It is very important to pay attention to details and display a passion for the tasks at hand.
  • A full driving licence is required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
