Data Visualization Lead for the International Private Bank

Within its Asset & Wealth Management Division, the Business Intelligence Team leverages data to enhance sales productivity and business strategies. The Data Visualization Lead will play a crucial role, reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence for the International Private Bank.
As the Data Visualization Lead within the Business Intelligence Team, you will shape and execute the visualization and dashboard automation roadmap, overseeing the process from strategy through delivery.
The Data Visualization Lead will report to the Head of Business Intelligence for the International Private Bank. In this role, you will shape and execute the visualization and dashboard automation roadmap, overseeing the process from strategy through delivery. Your mission is to convert priority use cases (client deepening/acquisition, AUM/flows & revenue, marketing effectiveness, etc.) into a coherent suite of automated, reliable, and scalable dashboards. You will create engaging UI analytic experiences, and modern web frameworks to enhance discovery, search, and contextual insights within dashboards and web applications. You will establish and uphold visual standards, accessibility and design principles, data quality SLAs, and data alignment. You will benchmark our approach against industry best practices, ensuring solutions meet regulatory expectations and commercial needs. Partnering with Marketing and Front Office, you will steer a quarterly roadmap, prioritize value, track OKRs, and coach analysts to raise the bar on storytelling and decision impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated dashboard solutions that deliver real-time or near real-time data insights.
- Implement scheduling and alert systems to ensure timely delivery of critical business metrics.
- Optimize dashboard performance, scalability, and user experience through continuous monitoring and improvement.
- Pilot and deploy new BI tools, evaluating their fit for business needs and integration with existing systems.
- Create compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Establish and govern visualization standards, best practices, and style guides to ensure consistency across all reporting outputs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualization solutions.
- Perform exploratory and diagnostic analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business value.
- Safeguard data accuracy and integrity across all visual outputs with validation checks and reconciliations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience in building enterprise dashboards, business intelligence solutions and/or analytics in large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau, Sigma, ThoughtSpot or similar visualization platforms
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using industry-leading tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, , or similar platforms
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, champion adoption through demos, office hours, and playbooks.
- Implement robust row-level security and access controls to protect sensitive information.
- Strong data storytelling & UX (chart selection, accessibility, labelling and consistent layout)
- Partner with data scientists to operationalize advanced analytics and machine learning models in dashboards.
- Integrate multiple data sources with secure, well-documented data models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science or related field
- Previous experience in financial services industry and/or wealth management a plus
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning and predictive modeling) and how to operationalize them in dashboards
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
