Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction and project operations on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating with various teams to deliver projects efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

  • Supervise daily site activities, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely progress of the project.
  • Monitor project schedules using Primavera P6, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage resource allocation, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise productivity.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify potential issues or delays early and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Enforce quality control measures throughout all phases of construction.

Skills

  • Proven management experience within the construction or engineering sectors.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and planning.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Ability to problem-solve proactively and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites. This position requires a motivated individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering projects on time and within scope through effective supervision and management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
