FEA-I is an exciting joint venture between further education specialists FE Associates and AI experts, Leading AI. FE Associates is very well known in the further education sector and has been meeting the leadership needs of colleges since 2004. FEA-I is jointly owned by FE Associates and Leading AI and backed by the owners of both businesses. The role of AI Implementation Manager:
Our new Implementation Manager will be our second full-time hire and the overarching purpose of the role is to support our clients with the successful adoption and implementation of our AI platform KnowledgeFlow and its AI Assistants.
This is a
hybrid role with Tuesdays and Wednesdays worked from the FE Associates offices outside of Bristol and the rest of the time from home. The role will also require occasional travel to client sites.
Our AI Implementation Manager to support our clients in making effective and successful use of the AI solutions we provide to them.
Key Responsibilities:
Client relationships and exceptional service
· Establish positive, trusted and effective relationships with FEA-I clients.
· Ensure excellent communication is in place with FEA-I clients
· Provide expert and helpful advice, guidance and support to FEA-I clients
· Ensure help is provided in a highly responsive manner and reflects the needs of the client.
Implementation & Onboarding
On completion of sales activities, lead the implementation and onboarding processes for new clients which includes but it not limited to:
· Send welcome communications and schedule inception meetings with clients and their internal teams.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, setting clear milestones and deliverables for implementation
· Support clients with a programme of comprehensive training (in-person or online) relating to set up and usage
· Work with our technical partners, Leading AI, to ensure effective technical set up and delivery.
· Conduct testing on AI tools prior to handover and launch and address any technical or functional issues with either our technical partner, Leading AI, or the client's internal IT team.
· Ensure all stakeholders are engaged and properly onboarded throughout the implementation phase.
Quality Assurance & Monitoring
· Gather and review feedback from clients and where necessary work with our technical partner, Leading AI, to resolve any issues and ensure effective feedback mechanisms are in place.
· In the post-implementation phase, conduct regular client check-ins and offer refresher training as required.
· Track and record all issues and actions, ensuring timely resolution.
· Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders within client organisations.
· Arrange quarterly review meetings with clients to assess progress and address concerns.
· Monitor customer analytics and solution adoption, presenting regular reports, reviewing KPIs, and making recommendations to drive further value.
Training & Ongoing Support
· Identify key users and champions at each college to support effective adoption.
· Arrange training sessions, both in-person and online, covering the full cycle of use (from initial implementation, document upload, end user engagement)
· Monitor feedback and usage data post-training to ensure continued engagement.
· Work closely with the FEA-I Development Manager to ensure ongoing and effective engagement with clients is maintained and that user satisfaction remains high.
Our new AI Implementation Manager will be line managed by the FEA-I Development Manager and receive Strategic Support from FE-AI's CEO, Matt Atkinson and our Chief Innovation Officer, Kieron White. The Implementation Manager will work closely with the technical team at Leading AI.

We believe the role of AI Implementation Manager will suit someone at an early stage in their career in technology related project management and client success. As a relatively new business with the characteristics of a start-up we need someone who is driven, can work independently and autonomously and loves delivering outstanding support to clients. This role will have lots of client interaction so you will need to enjoy building new professional relationships. We do expect you to come to us with some relevant experience but first and foremost having the right attitude and work ethic is what matters most. We recognise that our new Implementation Manager may be building their career and we are open to recognising a range of experiences that you may have gained through internships, part-time work and other interests that you may have been pursuing. Of course, you will need to know your way around AI and we expect you to understand the application and usage of AI in the working world.

Essential Criteria
Experience and Knowledge
- Proven experience in project management and delivering effective customer/client experiences.
- An excellent level of knowledge and understanding of AI, its usage in organisations and developments in this field.
- Familiarity with data analytics, KPIs, and reporting to monitor solution adoption and client engagement.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate technical information into accessible guidance and training for non-technical users.
- Competence in using digital platforms and tools for project management, communication, and analytics.
- An interest in developing the skills to deliver engaging training and development sessions to users and clients.

Desirable Criteria
- Experience working directly with colleges or educational institutions in a support, training, or implementation capacity.
- Experience of delivering training sessions in the workplace.
- Formal qualification in project management, technology or customer success.
The Details:
- Your contract of employment will be with FE Associates.
- We expect the starting salary for this role to be between £25k and £28k per annum.
- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
- Defined contribution pension scheme (3.3% employer contribution, 4.67% employee contribution)
- Death in service benefit
- 2 days office based in BS32 4JT and 3 days working from home. Free parking available.
