The Role

To provide comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.

What we'll need you to bring
  • Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer experience or work experience in a health, education, social care environment
  • Undertake on the job training and induction
  • Undertake mandatory Health Care Support Worker Standards
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multi disciplinary team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology
It would be great if you also have
  • SVQ II in health care or working towards, or equivalent experience working in a caring environment/role.
  • Further education/evidence of CPD in area of work including study days and courses.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development, as identified personally or due to the demands of the services.

Location

This role will be based in Ward 21, Ward 22 & DAU within University Hospital Wishaw.
