Activities Provider, Southlands Nursing Home

Do you have a caring nature, a can do attitude and creative flair? Then you could be the Activities Provider we are looking for.
Hours are Saturday and Sunday, and possibly an odd weekday, to meet the needs of our residents. You will be providing evidenced based quality care to our residents on a day to day basis ensuring high quality interactions are benefited from all in the home. You will design and carry out a range of activities to ensure diversity, equality and most importantly FUN
Due to the nature of the role, being privy to confidential information relating to residents and staff, you need to be able to retain complete discretion and be tactful and diplomatic when dealing with or supporting your manager to deal with sensitive issues. The successful candidate will have a cheerful disposition, be willing to take on a challenge, be flexible, have a mature, can-do, and problem-solving attitude.
This position is subject to two references acceptable to the company and an acceptable, enhanced DBS Disclosure.
