We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and accounting skills, who is confident working independently and managing a busy daily workload. Experience with Sage is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload invoices to Paperless and maintain accurate filing
  • Check invoices for accuracy and liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries
  • Data entry for payroll and support with pension administration
  • Enter daily banking transactions and maintain reconciled records
  • Prepare payment runs and ensure all supporting documents are accurate
  • Complete ad-hoc data entry tasks as required, including supplier forms
  • Support the finance team with general administrative duties

Requirements

  • Must have experience using Sage
  • Previous accounts or finance administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues
  • Reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information

Hours: 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.58 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
