Rotary Operations Controller

The Rotary Operations Controller is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and coordinating with each of the operations departments as needed to ensure the safe operation of every flight while providing the best possible service to our customers. This position involves proactively planning and anticipating for the operational needs of the company, works with all departments in operations and reports directly to the Head of TCC.
- Monitor the daily operation (demand, uncovered trips, delays).
- Coordinate with the maintenance department concerning scheduled and unscheduled MX events.
- Monitor all functions within the TCC, identify potential problems that could cause disservice and provide solutions to minimize any delays.
- Be able to conduct landing site feasibility checks.
- Manage Handling, overflight permits (If applicable) and services coordination related to a flight.
- Assist commercial services team on technical matters, trip support, and Rotary Flight Feasibility Checks.
- Evaluation and initiation of the company ERP.
- Assist in the crewing and FTL oversight relating to CAP371.
- Flight Planning according to Operations Manual, procedures and regulations, considering safety amongst all.
- Flight following/in flight assistance of flight crews, including analyzing and evaluating meteorological conditions, aeronautical charts, ATS monitoring and route optimization.
- Initiate, delay, reschedule or cancel a flight.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of TCC
- Evaluate and initiate of ERP in accordance with company policy.
Education & Experience
- Experience in a rotary operations environment is ideal but not essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Scheduling experience or experience in transport and logistic department is an advantage
Required Skills
- Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work productively, independently or within a team.
- Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required. Further languages skills of advantage.
- Successful candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism while multi-tasking various real time issues in a fast paced environment.
- Must have excellent analytical skills
- Have a high level of professionalism and the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.
- Must possess the legal ability to work in the United Kingdom.
