How You'll Make an Impact:

The Content Editor role spans all products within the Fitch Learning catalogue and oversees the entire content production journey from authoring through to being learner-ready.

  • Produce clear content briefings for authors and ensure requirements are met.
  • Manage the production process from receipt of authored material to final learner-ready output.
  • Manage content across a variety of software platforms.
  • Manage third-party content production partners.
  • Distribute work across internal content administrators and external production partners.
  • Oversee both manual and automated quality control processes for produced content.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and enhance the content production process.

You May Be a Good Fit If:

  • Work with the Content Director, program managers, client relationship managers, and other stakeholders to understand, interpret, and document content requirements and standards.

  • Translate product or client requirements into learning and exam content specifications (e.g., technical coverage, complexity, target audience).

  • Create and maintain clear documentation to serve as control sheets for content production.

  • Work with the Content Director to commission authors, providing clear and concise instructions on requirements.

  • Produce thorough briefing documents and proactively identify and mitigate risks.

  • Maintain strong relationships with authors and actively manage deliverables and output quality.

  • Manage content within necessary systems, ensuring integrity, quality, and version control.

  • Handle high volumes of content, cataloguing existing materials and identifying gaps across formats (questions, slides, study notes, e-learning audiovisual recordings).

  • Conduct analysis auditing and controlling content to ensure consistency across media.
  • Oversee version control to ensure correct materials are processed and published.

  • Manage the production process from receipt of authored material to learner-ready delivery.

  • Ensure appropriate systems support the content production process and manage these systems with relevant third parties.

  • Document production processes and make them accessible to the internal content team and wider business.
  • Work closely with the Content Director to ensure the end-to-end content management process is effective and efficient.

  • Manage third-party content production partners.

  • Lead origination and onboarding of new partners with diverse production capabilities.

  • In partnership with the Content Director, ensure value for money from third-party providers.
  • Monitor quality, escalate concerns, and track spend against budget, reporting to the Content Director and content managers.

  • Distribute work among the internal team and content production partners.

  • Track incoming content production tickets and allocate to content administrators or third-party partners.

  • Serve as the point of escalation for timeline or quality issues on production tickets.

  • Oversee both manual and automated quality control methods for produced content.

  • Collaborate with Content Managers to define and implement appropriate QA controls—both manual and automated.

  • Improve and enhance the content production process.

  • Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on production volumes, costs, and quality.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to optimize workflows.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience working within financial services and strong familiarity with financial terminology (essential).
  • Content management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a content management environment, with familiarity in version control, content workflows, and content management.
  • Ability to follow processes efficiently and attentively in a high-volume, multi-lingual content environment.
  • Technical literacy, including strong Excel skills (formulas and basic data analysis) and the ability to quickly learn a range of proprietary systems.
  • Desirable:

  • Experience working with learning or exam content.

  • Experience with assessment software.
  • Project management experience.
