We're now looking for a Content Editor to lead our listings content and play a pivotal role in shaping the voice, quality, and cultural depth of

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, research-driven editor who's ready to take ownership of our content pipeline and make a meaningful impact. You'll oversee the research, planning, and production of listings, ensuring they are accurate, culturally informed, and consistently aligned with our tone of voice.

You'll work across all parts of the content lifecycle: scouting and evaluating new ideas, structuring listings, editing for clarity and concision, and maintaining high editorial standards that keep trustworthy and effortless to use.

You'll:

  • Research and evaluate experiences, venues, events, and walks across London, identifying what's worth featuring and why.
  • Produce, edit, and publish listings that adhere to WOWlist's format, tone, and cultural angle.
  • Manage and maintain our content calendar, ensuring regular updates and strong coverage across categories.
  • Ensure every listing is accurate, well-structured, and genuinely useful
  • Develop a deep understanding of our audience — Londoners seeking meaningful, energising ways to spend their weekends.
  • Build and maintain internal research systems to ensure consistency and editorial efficiency.
  • Track cultural trends, new openings, and seasonal shifts to keep timely and relevant.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6+ years of experience in content editing, journalism, research, or guide-style editorial work.
  • A strong editorial eye — able to craft clear, succinct, well-structured content.
  • Excellent research skills, with a meticulous approach to verifying details and assessing relevance.
  • Ability to absorb and apply a specific tone of voice
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, independent working style.
  • Good judgment about what matters to Londoners: their tastes, weekends, habits, and decision-making patterns.
  • Experience writing for lifestyle, culture, travel, or city guides is a significant advantage.
