Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent guest service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard guest experience while ensuring smooth operational functions across various departments.

The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and operational excellence.

Duties

  • Ensure bar is closed at the end of the evening.
  • Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with operations, event co-ordinator, food & beverage, to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

  • Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel management, either at reception or front of house.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, health & safety regulations, and hospitality standards.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and calmness under pressure.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment while advancing their managerial career.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
