Sales Executive

IDS is looking for a new member to join our busy Sales Team as a Sales Representative / Account Manager focusing on South & Mid East UK customers.
Sharing our passion for creative arts, the successful applicant will connect with dance teachers and studios across the South of the UK, building strong relationships and discovering new opportunities to help us grow.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be mostly office based talking to our customers on the phone and on teams with some occasional out and about prospecting for potential customers. We expect you to identify opportunities to increase sales and offer insight into researching competing products. Working closely with the wider team, you'll also support the development and delivery of creative sales and marketing plans that showcase our products and strengthen our brand across your customer base.

• Deliver results in line with company Targets and Set Goals.
• Physically meet local customers in our showroom, occasionally at their place of business, with regular follow calls maximising all key selling windows.
• Establish strong relationships with key influential customers and drive Showroom meetings in person or digitally.
• Network with in-Country dance associations and dance-related franchises
• Drive new business through existing customers and active prospecting.
• Utilise IDS sales channels as a one stop shop for Dance Schools and Retailers
• Work with customers to maximise their business opportunity and reduce their touch points to make their lives easier
• Attend in-Country events (exhibitions, festivals). Min 3 weekends per year.
• Align with the marketing team to maximise brand activations in the account base such as trade marketing with the accounts, local events, social media and PR activation
• Responsible for pre-season planning and accurate forecasting for Key Customers
• Other duties and projects on an as needed basis.
Skills and Qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence
• 3+ years' experience within a relevant consumer goods industry
• Experience of selling dancewear and/or costumes (desirable)
• Understanding of the sales process, relationship building, and leveraging relationships leading to revenue growth (essential)
• Excellent presenter of products and building convincing argumentation
• IT literate, experienced successfully utilizing an ERP to run reports (essential)
• Knowledge of Dance industry (desirable)
• Experience in B2B Sales (desirable)
• A demonstrable interest in Dance and the performing arts
This role will be based in our Newton Abbot offices, however hybrid working will be considered.
